Robert Dwight Reynolds Jr. died unexpectedly at home on August 1, 2014. The body will be cremated and no services will be performed per his request.

Bob was born December 26, 1939 in Des Moines Iowa to Robert and Juanita Reynolds and was raised in Des Moines.

After a short time in the United States Navy Bob met his sweetheart Martha Morgan in 1962 and they made their home in Des Moines where they raised their two children.

Bob worked for Firestone Rubber and Tire from 1960 to 1969 and also worked for the Des Moines Police Department from 1969 to 1996 and retired as a Senior Police Officer. 

Fishing, watching old westerns and John Wayne were just some of his favorite past-times.

Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years Martie, his children Robert (Laurie) of Des Moines and Kimberly (Paula) of Mcallen Texas. mother Juanita, sisters Judith and Barbara of Sun City AZ, brother Donald of Minneapolis MN and 2 Grandchildren (Lindsey,Nicole) of Des Moines. Bob was preceded in death by his father Robert and brother Richard.
