Robert "Bob" Stefancik 
January 1, 1945 -  March 7, 2023

Robert Michael Stefancik, Sr., age 78 of Moneta passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his home.

He was born January 1, 1945. Surviving are his wife, Sandra (Hansen) Stefancik; two sons, Robert M. Stefancik, Jr. and his wife, Janene (Darr) of Wayland, MA, Anthony M. Stefancik and his wife, Kiesha (Lucas) of Waterloo, IA; grandchildren, Noah, Isabella, and Madison Stefancik of Wayland, MA, Taylor, Peyton, and Cole Stefancik of Waterloo, IA; great-grandson, Grayson Leyen; and sisters, Joyce (Dr. Richard) Stewart, Marilyn (Ben) Sayor, and Barbara (Ken-deceased) Burdzy.

Bob graduated from Passaic Senior High School class of 1963. Following graduation, he entered the United States Army and served for three years active service and eventually retired from the Army Reserves. He met his wife of 53 years in Minneapolis in 1967 and fate brought them back together again in New York in 1968 where they were engaged and began their life together. Robert served as a Waterloo (IA) Police Officer from 1975 until 1996 when he retired. He was also retired from TSA.

Services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount - Smith Mountain Lake.
