The Elmhurst Honor Guard Academy would like to inform your agency that the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting our Honor Guard Basics training on June 3-5, 2024 in Dubuque, IA.

Since 2006 our academy has been training law enforcement and fire service personnel throughout the country in honor guard maneuvers and protocols. This 3-day class is a condensed version of our week-long Honor Guard Training 101 class and will instructs participants on proper static movements and marching, flag posting and protocols, manual of arms and firing party ceremony, funeral details, and much more. So, whether your agency already has an honor guard unit or looking to create one, this training has something to offer everyone, regardless of their level of experience.
