President's Message

It’s been a long journey, but we are here!   I’m proud to be able to represent all the members of the ISPA for the 2025 year, where I will be continuing the boards work on legislation and representation, not just for us, but for all law enforcement across IOWA.
 
Thank you, Past President Judy Kellen and Local # 7, for all the hard work they did putting on the 92^nd annual conference in Sioux City.  I will be leaning on Judy for her knowledge and experience in the upcoming year. 
 
The ISPA board will be attending the Joint Public Safety meeting on December 6^th this year and will be discussing next year’s priorities.   READ MORE

New ISPA Jr. Director

Iowa State Police Association Members, 
 
First and foremost, I’d like to thank all of you for the opportunity to serve on the Iowa State Police Association board as the new Junior Director. 
 
I’d like to take this time to quickly introduce myself. My father was in the Air Force which had him stationed in several cities, states and countries for 10 years. Because of this, I was born in Harrogate, England - a short drive off base. After leaving the military, my dad worked as a defense contractor in the private sector which took us to Virginia for a few years. Eventually, my parents realized that Iowa was a better place to raise their family, so they relocated to their hometown of Denison Iowa to take over the family monument business.
